Dr. Balleza has been involved in dental missions for the past two consecutive years (Feb.2012-2013). She's an active member of Canadian Medical Mission Society (CMMS) a non-profit organization. Dr.Balleza is the current vice-president of CMMS for the year 2013 under the leadership of Dr.Dan Vargas MD (ENT Surgeon) and the presiding President of CMMS.

Tarlac Philippines February 2012

It was a two week medical-dental mission, held in Tarlac provincial Hospital in northern Luzon province of the country. Dental treatments and management of chronic and acute oral infections with surgical intervention procedures was performed to five(500) hundred indigent patients comprised of pediatric, adults and geriatric patients from different towns and villages. The dental team led by Dr. Balleza was supported by a dental hygienist and a registered nurse both from BC, Canada and the rest were five local Dentists from Manila with Dr. Simoun Suguitan, Dr. Rachel Suguitan, Dr. Lenlen Atienza, Dr. Melanie de Leon and Dr. Irma Cascante.
